IT Project Officer / Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for IT project life cycle management, from project preparation through go-life
• Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet prescribed standards
• Monitor the project progress, prepare progress report and statistics and proactively identify and escalate the potential risks to section manager
• Assists section manager on the management of external service providers
• Assists section manager to prepare project plan

Requirements

• Degree holder in IT related disciplines
• At least 4 years of project management experience in banking or financial institution
• Strong background on Treasury application system and implementation/ support is preferable
• Knowledge in treasury products features and user/system operations experience would be an added advantage
• Strong leadership and project management skills, able to lead cross-functional business projects with sound interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Willing to travel (e.g. China)
• Excellent verbal and writing Chinese communication skills. Good command of Cantonese and English
• Responsible, self-motivated and good organizational skill
• Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, both in a team environment and individually
