Senior Fixed Income Trader, Global Markets Department

Job Summary

This senior trader is a member of fixed income trading desk in Global Markets department. Main responsibilities of this position include:

Job Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement fixed income trading strategies, primarily in Asia IG credit and/or G4 macro market, to achieve profit target
• Help desk head in liaising with internal stakeholders such as fixed income sales, DCM, risk management, relationship managers, etc. to capture new business opportunities in market making and client business
• Guide and advice junior traders in the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's or above degree in finance or quantitative disciplines
• Minimum 7 years in Asia IG credit and/or G4 macro trading, experience with other markets such as CNY/CNH or global IG credit is a plus
• Solid understanding of macro environment as well as micro market structures, able to balance risk-taking and risk management to achieve optimal strategies
• Successful candidate must be highly self-motivated, be able to pay attention to details and multi-tasks, and a good team player
