Senior Officer, SME Business Management (Data Analyst)

Job Summary

• Assist the development of cross-border e-commerce acquiring business to grow cross-border payments and the business of our merchant and acquiring clients
• Adapt the card scheme cross-border payments strategy and implement in the local and cross-border acquiring industry (including in e-Wallet, e-Commerce)
• Provide knowledge sharing, coaching and training for the acquiring business sale team in the Bank

Job Responsibilities

• Be accountable for reaching online credit card acquiring sale targets by identifying new opportunities and risks, developing and executing plans to pursue these opportunities and pre-empt risks
• Understand the e-Commerce and Fintech trends to be confident in addressing merchants and cardholders’ needs
• Partner with teams in other functional department to execute online payment implement and improvement projects
• Responsible to work with card scheme acquiring team to build a deal pipeline with online merchants
• Work with cross-border e-commerce platforms, merchants and other vendors to understand their needs, and implement the right activities and solutions that will grow cross-border credit card expenditur
• Support the team in cultivating and managing the subsequent pipeline of activity and sale opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant product sales / management experience in banking industry, experience in cross border e-commerce and credit card online acquiring business will be an advantage
• Familiar with card scheme online payment gateway,like CyberSource, MPGS, UPOP
• Proficient in MS Office
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)
